The start of another wonderful adventure! I’m in Prague as a delegate from the Canadian Tour Guides Association (CTGA) of BC. I am now the President, although with my tours this year, it’ll be April before I assume my duties. I’m here with the past president, Cheryl (who is teaching me the ropes), a delegate from Ottawa and one from Montreal!
I love flying British Airways, as usual the flight to London was great. A short wait of four hours at Heathrow and a 1 1/2 hr flight to Prague, plus a 20 min. Car ride to The Ambassador Hotel. Not bad for a day’s travel! The hotel is fabulous! My room is a suite fit for a princess – complete with a jetted tub! Here are photos of my room and the view from my window! Yes, it’s awesome!

October 10th to the 15th!
We will fly out of the October rain and find ourselves at the Intercontinental Hotel in San Diego for 5 sun filled days!
We loaded Chris and Karen into the car and off we went exploring the countryside to the north of Dublin. Howth is a lovely seaside village 29 minutes from downtown Dublin. We wound our way along the water admiring the stone walls, ocean and beautiful homes. Howth is full of fishing vessels, little markets and restaurants. We wandered along the seawall admiring the view and did a little window shopping. We took Rick Steve’s advice and had lunch at The Oar House where I had the speciality of the area ‘Dublin Bay Prawns’. Yummy!
